Felt commissions
As well as listing felt pieces in my shop, I also take commissions. My waitlist is currently full, but you are welcome to get in touch to discuss ideas or ask any questions you may have, ahead of me reopening it in 2027 😊
How my commission process works
✨ My contact form is the best way to submit a commission enquiry, but you can also contact me via Instagram or Facebook. We can then have a no obligation chat about what you might like to order.
In the unlikely event you haven’t heard back from me within three days of getting in touch via my contact form, please do check your spam folder or feel free to send a follow-up message.
✨ I will let you know a quote, as well as giving an approximate idea of when I would plan to be working on your order by - this depends on workload, as I often group similar decorations from different orders together to work on simultaneously, and also work on some pieces for shop updates alongside these. Wait time can be between 1 to 4 months.
If you do have decorations you’d like to order to arrive by a particular date though, do say, as there will be some flexibility, but it’s always a good idea to place orders as early as possible if you can, as I do get particularly busy at certain points of the year.
If you are happy to go ahead (no pressure!) I will add you to my waitlist.
✨ Currently, I only take a deposit (20%) if the value of your order exceeds £250, or very occasionally if the item is particularly personalised or unusual, such as an item in an unusual custom colourway which I couldn’t easily resell if you didn’t go ahead with the order.
✨ When your order is complete, I will send photographs for you to review, to ensure that you are completely happy with your finished felt creation(s)
✨ I will then list your order in my shop as a custom order – this method allows you to utilise my shop’s checkout system which accepts many different payment methods.
✨ Once payment is received, I will carefully wrap your order and send it on its way!

I love to share pictures and videos of decorations as I work on them to social media - if you would prefer me not to share photographs of your order as I work on it, this is not a problem, please just mention it to me when you get in touch 😊

Felt decorations
Felt decorations are available in lots of different shapes; I have listed some of my most popular designs below, but if you have seen something else you like on my Instagram or Facebook pages please do get in touch, as it's likely I can recreate these too, either in an existing colourway, or something new.
Decorations are embellished with hand cut felt appliqué, embroidery and beads and are single sided, backed with plain felt in a colour to complement the design and stuffed to give a nice padded look. Each decoration has a twisted cord hanger handmade in colours to match the design. A decoration or set of decorations can make a lovely heirloom gift to treasure.

A few years ago I was delighted to be commissioned by artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins to create a set of decorations based on illustrations he had made for a retelling of Hansel and Gretel by poet laureate Simon Armitage. I created twelve different decorations which Clive very kindly gave permission for me to continue creating and offering for sale. The set included a rocking horse, rabbit, duck, teddy bears and more. You can find more images of these over at my Instagram account, and I am always happy to make these to commission, too. I have a price guide below for the designs I most often recreate but again, if you are interested in other designs, please do get in touch.

Pet decorations
I am able to create decorations inspired by pets - colours and shapes tend to be simplified to varying degrees to best fit my style and the medium I work with, so it's worth keeping in mind that they are not precise portrait decorations as such, more an illustration of much loved animals, in my style.
Prices for pet decorations are dependent on complexity of colour/ detail and whether a new shape needs to be created - they range from around £35 for a simple design with flat base colour based on an existing shape, to £60 for more complex colours and new designs. If you would like more information please do get in touch.

3D felt animals are embellished with felt appliqué, embroidery and beads. They are stuffed and are generally constructed in such a way that they are poseable.
If you are interested in me making a 3D felt animal for you, please get in touch, as I do take on a limited number of felt animal commissions each year. I can recreate designs I have created previously (with a couple of exceptions) or work on something new - a fun commission I worked on once was to create a 3D felt version of a drawing of a little dog that my customer had created! There are lots of possibilities.
Each 3D felt animal will arrive in its new home with an embossed certificate of authenticity and care card.

*Very regretfully I am unable to take orders from the EU at this time due to legislation recently introduced which makes posting to the EU particularly costly and challenging. Many apologies - I am hoping to be able to find a way to resume posting to the EU again one day.
